Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Full-time position, work 4pm-midnight Monday-Friday.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Perform light “fix-it” repairs that were not completed during the 1st shift.
  • Respond to on-call issues as they arise (leaky faucets, leaky/broken toilets, change fuses, elevator issues, clean aerators, locate shut-off valves, etc.).
  • Looking for a reliable candidate who can work independently and efficiently, has great follow-through skills, and is knowledgeable of overall maintenance practices.

Commercial Carpenter

Media Real Estate Company is currently looking for a full-time commercial carpenter to work with our in-house Architects and Commercial Construction team. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced, a self-starter, well-rounded, and familiar with door, hardware, drywall, and finishing.

Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Media Real Estate Company is currently seeking a full-time Service Technician for our apartment communities and commercial properties located in Media, PA.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnose and perform major, minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional fashion.
  • Take initiative where appropriate to address related work-order request issues and document accordingly.
  • Assist with building/tenant improvements as required.
  • Routinely perform duties to restore apartments to “make ready” status.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document time, work performed, and parts/materials utilized.
  • Assist with routine preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide information needed by Service Manager.
  • Customer friendly attitude, neat appearance, good problem-solving skills and safety conscious work habits.
  • Required to be available for on-call schedule.
  • Must have own tools.


Media Real Estate Company is currently seeking a full-time Cleaner for our apartment communities and commercial properties located in Media, PA.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Apartment make-ready preparation.
  • Commercial office cleaning.
  • Common area maintenance.
  • Grounds care.
  • Laundry facility cleaning.


Reporting to the CFO and owners of a family-owned business transitioning to next generation leaders, you will head the accounting operations of various family owned entities spanning real estate, transportation, healthcare and insurance. Orchestrating monthly closing reports across entities and implementing relevant dashboards and analyses for ownership and lenders will be key job functions.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Timely, accurate and complete financial statements
  • Compilation of investor and bank reporting requirements including debt covenants
  • Collaboration with CFO and owners on annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Calculation and analysis of key financial operating metrics
  • Coordination of annual audits as primary liaison with outside auditors
  • Management of internal bookkeeping/accounting teams
  • Standardization of accounting systems across operating entities


  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or MBA
  • CPA and institutional accounting/controller background strongly preferred
  • External audit engagement experience
  • Minimum 7 years work experience, including management of junior accounting staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel
  • Familiarity with MRI, and/or Real World or similar accounting software packages
